Norman Stillman

Norman Stillman is a prominent American historian specializing in the historical intersection of Jewish and Islamic cultures. His academic expertise lies in the areas of Oriental and Sephardi Jewry, with a particular focus on the Jewish communities of North Africa. Throughout his career, Stillman has held distinguished positions, including serving as the Schusterman-Josey Professor and Chair of Judaic History at the University of Oklahoma, from which he is now emeritus.
