Ashley Tisdale

Ashley Tisdale is an American actress and singer born in 1985. She began her career at a young age, appearing in numerous advertisements and taking on minor roles in film, television, and theater. Her early start ultimately led to more prominent opportunities, including her breakout role as Maddie Fitzpatrick in the Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which she played from 2005 to 2008.

Tisdale's success in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was soon eclipsed by her iconic portrayal of Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series, which ran from 2006 to 2011. The popularity of the films prompted Warner Bros. Records to sign her, and in 2007, she released her debut studio album, Headstrong, to commercial success. The album earned a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. In addition to her work in film and music, Tisdale has also lent her voice to the character of Candace Flynn in the Disney Channel's animated series Phineas and Ferb.
