Herbie Mann

Herbie Mann was a renowned American jazz musician, born Herbert Jay Solomon in 1930. He primarily gained recognition for his expertise as a jazz flutist, although he also showcased his skills on the tenor saxophone and clarinet during the early stages of his career. Mann's decision to specialize in the flute made him a pioneer among jazz musicians, as he was one of the first to focus on this instrument.

One of his most notable achievements was the release of the single "Hi-Jack", which reached the top of the Billboard dance charts and remained at number one for three weeks in 1975.
