Gregory Breit

Gregory Breit was a renowned American physicist, born in 1899 in Mykolaiv, which was then part of the Russian Empire. His academic career spanned several prestigious institutions, commencing with an assistant position to Paul Ehrenfest at Leiden University in 1921.
